This pendant features a fragment of sea pottery discovered along the beaches of Portsmouth, UK. Each piece has been worn smooth by the tides, its original story lost to time, yet full of character and imagination.
Handcrafted in my seaside studio in Old Portsmouth, the pottery is encased in a blend of silver, copper and tin solder, and finished with a sterling silver jump ring. An optional 18-inch sterling silver trace chain can be added.
I walk the shoreline every day, collecting pottery, sea glass, shells, and stones, small treasures shaped by both nature and history. I love giving these overlooked fragments a new life, transforming them into sustainable, one-of-a-kind jewellery.
