This pendant is made from a piece of sea pottery found along the beaches of Portsmouth, UK. Its edges have been softened by years of rolling in the tides, each fragment carrying a quiet story of its journey through the sea.
Handcrafted in my seaside studio in Old Portsmouth, the pottery is encased in a blend of silver, copper, and tin solder, finished with a sterling silver jump ring. An optional 18-inch sterling silver trace chain can be added.
I walk the shoreline every day, collecting pottery, sea glass, shells, and stones, fragments once overlooked, now transformed into wearable, sustainable jewellery. Each piece is unique, carrying the memory of the sea and the life of the piece before.
