This handmade shell pendant is crafted from a shell collected on the shoreline in Portsmouth, on the south coast of the UK. Each shell carries its own unique shape, texture and story, shaped over time by the tides.
Handmade in my seaside studio in Old Portsmouth, the shell is encased in a blend of silver, copper and tin solder, and finished with a sterling silver jump ring. An optional 18-inch sterling silver trace chain can be added.
I walk the beach every day, collecting shells, sea glass, stones and pottery, small treasures shaped by nature and history. I love transforming these overlooked fragments into sustainable, one-of-a-kind jewellery that can be worn and cherished again.
