This handmade sea glass pendant is created from a piece of sea glass gathered from the shoreline in Portsmouth, on the south coast of the UK. Smoothed and softened by years in the tide, each fragment carries the quiet evidence of its journey through the sea.
Handcrafted in my seaside studio in Old Portsmouth, this one-of-a-kind coastal pendant is encased in a blend of silver, copper and tin solder, and finished with a sterling silver jump ring. An optional 18-inch sterling silver trace chain is available.
I walk the beach each day collecting sea glass, pottery, shells and stones, small tidal treasures shaped by both human hands and nature. I’m drawn to their softened edges and faded colours, and love transforming these reclaimed, beach-found pieces into sustainable jewellery designed to be worn and treasured again.
